To what extent have they understood the requirements of the project
I did 3 experiments on how to improve the video and to help me choose the best option (Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro), I did one each. I added different effects and made the images tell a ‘different story’. For example, in After Effects I did some kind of vintage effect.
To what extent is there evidence of wide research?
At first, I did not have any idea of what my final project would look like and then I remembered this music video where the colour was some kind of pink and it looked pretty good. So I tried to recreate in After Effects

To what extent is there evidence of effective planning?
I did plan that I was going to film my final project somewhere nice, and I thought London Bridge is a pretty well known location and filming a 360 degree video would look pretty cool since you can see Tower Bridge and The Shard.
Also I did plan to add different effects to the experiments to see which would look better and get an idea of what effect I could use for my final project. For example, in Photoshop I made the buildings look like they are painted.
However, I couldn’t really use the same effect for the video (in London Bridge) since you cannot really see buildings and if you do, they would be pretty far so the effect would’ve been useless for the video.
To what extent have they shown good practical skills and an understanding of how to solve technical problems?
For my final piece I didn’t record one time because I wasn’t sure it would work since it was my first time using the 360 degree camera, so I took more than 1 video and 1 picture to make sure I had enough footage to choose from. It was good practice for me, to get used to using the camera and I also went to other places, such as the park.
How clearly and effectively have they communicated their ideas and concepts?
I had to write 5 different locations and I inserted pictures to each location to get an idea of where exactly I could film and what would make the project better. So I chose London Bridge because if I place the camera on the bridge, you can also see the Tower Bridge and The Shard.
Are there any areas for improvement that you would like to suggest?
I would probably choose to film on a sunny day so the sky is clearer. With some good effects I could make the sky look really nice if it was clearer and not so cloudy. Even though I managed to create a nice final project, I would definitely film on a sunny day.
Overall, I am happy with my final project. 🙂
