Celtx is a pre-production media software used for screenplays, films, etc.
To be able to use Celtx, you need to sign up first.
On the left side of your computer/laptop you have a few options. First option (New Project) will obviously start a new project. Then you you have the projects created by you and also the archived ones. Studio Management is pretty much contact details, members etc. And then, to help you have a better understanding of how celtx works, you have some tutorials.
When you start a new project you can choose the type of project you want to create. After you’ve chosen the type of project, name it. (i.e. key word related to your project)
To be able to use the following options, you need to subscribe. (You don’t have to worry about these for now)
So you are going to write a script by choosing the ‘Script Class text’, which is the option above options you have to subscribe for.
Then you get a few options which will tell you what part of the script you’re on.
For example: scene heading
Of press enter twice to go to scene 2.
Celtx also tells you how long it took you to write the script, how many words you’ve written.
You can also customise your script.
Lastly, on the right side of the computer you have the scenes so it’s easier for you to find the scene if you want to change something.
